Things to see

The cottage is two miles north of the beautiful village of Broadway, with its Broadway Museum and Art Gallery, (part of the Ashmolean Museum) and about three miles west of Chipping Camden, with its Arts and Crafts museum (Court Barn), and modern goldsmiths and silversmiths.

St. Peter’s Church five minutes’ walk away is a beautiful 13th century church.

There is a children’s playground in the village at the end of the High street past the turning to the church

Cheltenham Music Festival (5-14 July 2019) is about eighteen miles away.

A number of famous gardens and National Trust houses are between five and seven miles away, in particular Snowshilll Manor, Hidcote, and the unique Kiftsgate Gardens

Stratford-upon-Avon, home to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre is only thirteen miles away.

The cottage is near to several family attractions, such as Batsford Arboretum and the Cotswold Falconry Centre, which are about nine miles away, and Birdland at Bourton on the Water is about fifteen miles away.

The amazing art gallery at Compton Verney is under twenty miles from Willersey.

Upton House, a National Trust house with an wonderful art collection, is about twenty-two miles away.

Winchcombe Pottery and Sudeley Castle are both about ten miles away. The 15th century Sudeley :Castle was the home of Katharine Parr, Herny VIII’s last wife.
