There is a village shop, two pubs, a hairdresser, village taxi service, bike hire and good bus services to Stratford on Avon, Evesham, Cheltenham and Broadway

The village shop, Willersey Stores, is two minutes away, and is open from 7 am to 1 pm Monday to Friday, 7 am to 11.45 am on Saturdays (check website for latest information).  With a day’s notice you can order a wide range of local fresh vegetables, as well as bread, gluten-free bread and croissants, sausage rolls, quiche etc, all baked locally.

They have a coffee shop and do great cooked breakfasts. They are a UPS Access Point for deliveries. They also have electric bicycles for hire, and run a taxi service. Contact them by phone – 01386 853489, or email willerseystores@googlemail.com

Details of church services and much more information can be found on the relevant pages of the Willersey website – http://www.willersey.org/stpeter.htm for St. Peter’s church, and http://www.willersey.org/methodist.htm for the Methodist chapel, which is two doors down from Mendelssohn cottage.

There are two pubs in the village that do food: the New Inn and the Bell.

There is a hairdresser’s by the church.

The nearest supermarket and cashpoint are Budgens in Broadway or the Co-op in Honeybourne four and a half miles away, opposite the turning to the station.

There are some great farm shops in the area, such as Pages Farm about a quarter of an hour away, just past Mickleton on the road to Stratford on a very sharp bend.

There is a very good butcher in Mickleton.

There is a Waitrose on the outskirts of Stratford Upon Avon about 20-25 minutes away.

Evesham has several retail parks and a Morrisons, Tesco and Aldi. There is a large Aldi in Moreton-in-Marsh (on the A429 to Stow on the Wold, carry on for three minutes rather than turning right on the A44 to Bourton on the Hill and Broadway.

Slightly closer for vegetables is the farm shop at Castle Nurseries which is on the A44 on the way to and just before Evesham about ten to fifteen minutes away. Head towards Broadway, turn right at the first roundabout and follow the signs to Evesham. Moreton-in-Marsh has a large and very popular market on Tuesdays.
